Saturday, January 19, 2008 occurred the event that is now down in the history books! Snow DAY!! Countless students across USM gathered together at the Rock and united to play in the snow. The campus was painted a beautiful white and cars were decorated with miniature snowmen (and women). Some students created "Frost-ine" the snowwoman, creating a skirt out of snow. This was a good way to start the semester. One of the most famous snowmen was the replica of our alumnus, Brett Farve, coming back to The Rock just like old times. The snow stayed on the ground almost all weekend! This was exciting for all the Mississippi natives. Snow is pretty, but it has brought the cold.
